Ethan Furman is a jazz drummer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader based in Los Angeles, California, USA. Ethan has performed internationally with jazz luminaries such as Ben Wendel, Lionel Loueke, Bob Mintzer, Sullivan Fortner, Melissa Aldana, Norma Winstone, Russell Ferrante, and more. He's been recognized by Downbeat Magazine and YoungArts, and his group Pluto's Heart recently won the Young Artist Project Initiative grant from USC Thornton. 

Ethan has a dual degree BA in Jazz Studies and Economics from the University of Southern California, where he studied with Will Kennedy, Peter Erskine and Aaron Serfaty.
